That one week in June when my tent flooded on 3 separate nights

Honestly, I thought I was being smart with a budget tent I picked up for $60. First night it rained and I woke up in a puddle around 2 AM. Second night I tried adding a tarp underneath, but water just seeped in from the sides. Third night I gave up and slept in my car at the Pine Grove campsite. Anyone else have a tent that just couldn't handle a little rain?

dude if you spent $60 on a tent you kinda get what you pay for so maybe the tent wasn't the problem here.

troykim saying "you get what you pay for" is just ignoring the fact that some cheap tents actually hold up fine in light rain. My buddy has a $40 Coleman that's been through multiple storms no problem. But yeah, that Pine Grove site is notorious for flooding, I've heard stories from other people about the same thing happening there. Sometimes it's the spot you pick, not the tent itself. A bad campsite can wreck even a good tent if you set up in a low area.
