Just crossed 200 nights in my tent this year

I keep a log of every campout and hit 200 nights last Tuesday. That number surprised me because it means I've spent more time sleeping outdoors than indoors since March. Has anyone else tracked a milestone like that and found it changed how you look at gear?

Honestly I used to think ultralight gear was overhyped, but after that many nights I've completely flipped on it. Idk, everything just feels heavier when you're using it day after day.

Hang on a second, I gotta push back on that a little. 200 nights is a huge number, but sleeping outdoors 66% of the time since March doesn't mean you're in the tent every single one. You're probably mixing in some hammock or bivy nights, or maybe even a few on the ground under a tarp. That log would show a bigger picture if you broke it down by shelter type. Did you end up with a favorite setup for all those different conditions?
