Don't buy those cheap microfiber camping towels off Amazon
Picked up a 3 pack for $12 last spring thinking I was being smart... first trip out they barely absorbed anything and left lint all over my skin. By the third use the seams started unraveling and one tore clean in half when I wrung it out. Lost about $12 but more importantly had to dry off with a t-shirt for two days. Anyone else had luck with a budget towel brand that actually holds up?

Guess you found out the hard way those things are just glorified rags.

Wait, you tore it wringing it out? That's rough man. I picked up a couple of the Dock Bay brand ones after a similar Amazon fail and they've held up for like two years now with no lint or seam issues. They're like $10 each but way thicker and actually dry you off proper.
