Three hours to find a tiny spring that flew across my shop

Was fixing a Pentax K1000 shutter. Took the whole thing apart. Then that one little spring launched out. Flew somewhere behind my workbench. I looked for 45 minutes. Found it stuck to a dust bunny under my shelf. Never had a spring travel that far before. Anyone else lose tiny parts in the worst possible spots?

Man has that ever happened to me? I was fixing an old Olympus OM-1 and a tiny screw just disappeared into the carpet. I spent two whole hours on my hands and knees with a flashlight. Finally found it embedded in the sole of my shoe when I stood up to take a break. That spring flying to a dust bunny is wild though, I bet you felt like you won the lottery when you spotted it. Sometimes I wonder if those little parts have a secret mind of their own.

Actually, that OM-1 trick where the screw embeds in your shoe is way too common lol. I've definitely had that happen with camera parts more times than I'd like to admit. The worst is when you think you've lost it for good and then you're just walking around like a magnet for tiny metal bits.
