Just realized the old guy at the repair swap in Tulsa was right about saving every tiny screw
I was digging through a tin of junk screws at the swap meet last Saturday and this guy named Ray told me to never toss the odd ones because you'll need them someday. Three days later I had a Konica C35 on the bench with a stripped lens mount screw and the only match in the shop was one of those oddballs I'd saved. Felt pretty good pulling that out instead of waiting two weeks on a parts order. What's the weirdest part you've saved that ended up saving a repair?
