Man, this makes me feel like a caveman with a rock compared to you. I tried something like that once and ended up with a lens that rattled and a girlfriend who was mad I used her hair dryer. You actually got the blades unstuck without messing up the whole thing, which is way more than I pulled off. Twelve bucks and some hot air beats shipping it off and waiting three weeks. I am honestly a little jealous of your patience here.
