Seeing how she tugged at them made me add extra clips everywhere.

Hmm, I look at it another way... for me, teaching my kid about not pulling on things works better than just adding clips. We used these cable channels that hide everything, and she lost interest fast. It's cleaner and seems to stick for longer.
