Debate: crimped connectors vs push-on fittings for RG6

I'm up in Portland and had to decide between crimping all my ends by hand or using those push-on fittings that cost twice as much. I went with crimped because I like the control, but after 80 jobs last month I'm wondering if my hands can take it. Plus I've heard push-ons fail less in wet weather. Anyone else made the switch and regretted it?

...and honestly I feel like people make this way bigger of a deal than it actually is. Crimped ends work fine if you take your time and get a good connection. I've done hundreds of crimps in rain and snow and never had a fail because of weather alone. Push-ons are convenient but I've seen more of those pop loose during wind or temp changes than any properly crimped connector. Maybe it's just me but I don't think the extra cost is worth it unless you're doing jobs where speed beats everything else.

Betty_shah is spot on (and honestly I wish I had her track record with crimps in bad weather). My own crimping history includes one particularly humiliating moment where a connector came loose and I tripped over the wire in my own driveway, which is basically a metaphor for my whole DIY approach. Push-ons are fine for quick fixes but I've seen them go flying during a cold snap, and then you're just chasing a plastic end across a frozen lawn. Maybe I just need to invest in better gloves, but for now I'll take the time to crimp right and avoid the extra yard work.
