Lost a full week of work to a bad glue batch last month

Picked up a 5 gallon of what I thought was the same PVA I always use from a new supplier in Denver, and the joints started popping open after 3 days. Had to scrap 4 completed kitchen cabinets because the faces were delaminating. Has anyone else run into a bad batch of glue that ruined your timeline?

Did your supplier give you a batch number or date code on that 5 gallon? I had a similar issue last spring with a different brand where the glue just never set right. Turned out the supplier was storing it in an unheated warehouse and the cold messed with the chemical crosslinking. Took me months to figure out why my joints kept failing even after clamping for 24 hours.

Man, that's rough. @milarodriguez brings up a good point about storage temps, I had one batch that went bad because the warehouse let it freeze and the glue never had that right grab. Check if the new supplier is heating their space, that could be the whole problem with your timeline.
