TIL the $9 no-name cutting board I almost threw out is outlasting the $70 one I bought 3 months ago
Last Tuesday I was scrubbing both boards after a big prep day and noticed the cheap one from a church sale in 2014 still looks flat while the fancy one already has a deep gouge and a warp. I flipped it over and the cheap one is stamped 'Made in USA' with a real wood grain, not that glued-up stuff. Anyone else find that the throwaway stuff from garage sales beats the new stuff on the shelf?
