My old supplier retired and his last words to me were about the walk-in door
Gene ran the meat supply house on 9th for 31 years and he retired two weeks ago. On his last delivery he pointed at my walk-in door and said the gasket had been bad for a month and I never noticed because the door still shut fine. I checked it that night with a dollar bill and it slid out with no drag at all, so I was running that cooler harder than I needed to the whole time. Replaced the gasket for 40 bucks and the compressor already cycles less. Any of you catch a gasket going bad by feel before the temp tells you?
