That $50 vintage lamp I bought off Craigslist came with a dead moth inside the shade, still in perfect condition.
Found it at a garage sale in Arlington back in April. The algorithm on one of those resale apps kept recommending similar lamps, but none had the same weird bug inside. I cleaned it out and left the shade as is, kind of feels like a time capsule. Has anyone else gotten something off an algorithm that came with a free surprise?

7th and Main is where I found one last week, @felix385, and it looked like someone had thrown a brick through the window and the moth was just sitting there on the glass. Made me think how sometimes things that look completely wrecked from the outside are still functioning just fine. Your ex probably has a similar vibe, honestly.
