Tried to post a missing cat flyer but the thumbtack broke in half and now I'm just staring at the corkboard
Stopped by the library board downtown Austin. Had this flyer for a lost orange tabby. Looked fine. But the moment I pushed the thumbtack in, snap. Just broke like a cheap toothpick. Now I got half a tack stuck in the board and the flyer is flapping to the floor. Had three people walk past and just look at me. One lady asked if I needed help. I said no too proud. I ended up using gum from under a bench to hold it up. Not my best moment. Has anyone else had the board just fight back like that?

The universe has its own way of piling it all on at once too. Like when you spill coffee on your shirt right before a big meeting, then your car won't start, and you realize you left your phone at home. It just keeps snowballing until you have to laugh or you'll scream. Makes me wonder if there's some cosmic joke happening behind the scenes.
