Can we talk about how people keep taping signs over other signs without removing the old ones?

I walk past a board at the grocery store on Elm Street every Wednesday. The other day there were 4 layers of paper flapping off a single pushpin. A dog walking service, a lost cat, a guitar tutor, and a notice about a block party all stacked up. You can't read any of them. I spent 10 minutes trying to pull the top ones off carefully so I could see what the bottom said. Nobody stops to take down their old flyer. It just gets buried. I think we all need to do better at clearing expired stuff so the new things actually get seen. Has anyone else noticed this at their local boards?

Right? It's like getting life advice from a guy who's been dead for 400 years. I had this one dude try to sell me a "proven method" for growing Instagram followers. He showed me a screenshot of his account with like 50 followers and said "this is just the start." Meanwhile his profile picture was a blurry photo of him in some 90s sweater. The whole thing felt like a scam from a time capsule.
