Why does nobody mention how bad washi tape is for bujo pages?

I tried using washi tape to make my weekly spread pop and two days later the pages were sticking together and tearing. Anyone else just ditch the decorative stuff and go straight pen?

Oh man, I feel your pain. I swear washi tape is just fancy masking tape that lies to us. I bought a whole set thinking I was gonna be some bullet journal artist and now my pages look like a sad, sticky mess. Straight pen is the way to go, honestly it's way more reliable and you don't have to peel off little bits of paper every time you turn a page.
