Went to a stationery expo last Sunday and every single booth was selling the same 4 washi tape designs

Paid $12 entry fee in Portland just to walk past 40 vendors with identical floral and galaxy patterns, does anyone actually use that stuff or is it purely for decoration?

Thought it was all just for looks until my sister used some to line her journal pages and label her spice jars, now I get why people stock up.
