Stopped by my old coffee shop and saw someone using a pocket notebook

I was grabbing a latte at Brew & Bean downtown and noticed a woman bullet journaling in a little Leuchtturm. It made me remember when I first started 5 years ago with just a basic composition book and a pen. Has anyone else gone back to simpler supplies after trying all the fancy stuff?

Did you end up ditching the fancy stuff too?

Yeah I went all in on the simple stuff. Got rid of my fancy coffee machine and just use a french press now. Honestly tastes better and takes up way less counter space. The whole minimalist kitchen thing actually saves me time because I'm not cleaning a million attachments anymore. Have you found the same with whatever you switched out?
