I used to hate habit trackers until my friend showed me hers at a coffee shop last Wednesday
I always thought habit trackers were a waste of space in my journal, but then she pulled out this spread with 10 tiny boxes for things like drinking water and stretch breaks. She said it took her 2 minutes to fill out each night, and I realized I was overcomplicating it in my head. Has anyone else gone from hating a layout to loving it after seeing how someone else does it?

Friend of mine had a similar moment with her bullet journal. She showed me her tiny habit tracker that just had a dot for each day and she said it took her less time than picking a show on Netflix. I tried it with three things - drink water, walk outside, read one page - and it finally clicked for me. The key was starting stupid small, like one page of a book small, because then you actually want to fill in the box instead of dreading it. Now I keep a little row of checkboxes on my to-do list page and it takes maybe 30 seconds...

Stole that 'one page' idea and now my book thinks I'm having an affair with my checkboxes.
