PSA: The 30 day freezer meal challenge saved me $240 this month

I live in Portland and was blowing my whole paycheck on takeout after work because I was too tired to cook. My buddy Sarah from the gym dared me to try batch cooking 15 freezer meals in one Sunday afternoon at her place. I spent $85 on groceries at WinCo, used her vacuum sealer and labeled everything with masking tape, and now I have dinners ready for the next 4 weeks without spending another penny. Has anyone else tried this and actually stuck with it long term?

Makes sense you'd be stoked, but I gotta say buying real estate right now feels like betting on a house of cards in my area. Prices are still sky high and interest rates keep eating up any "profit" people think they're making. Feels more like lucky timing than a solid move for most folks.
