Found my real spending leak reviewing 3 months of bank alerts

I thought I was doing fine tracking groceries and gas, but my bank app kept sending me $8 to $15 alerts almost daily. Took a Saturday to actually sort them, turns out it was mostly fast food runs and parking garage fees near my shop. Not the big stuff, just death by a thousand cuts. The kicker was a $9.75 charge from a taco stand I hit every Tuesday without thinking. Started a 30 day rule where any purchase under $20 has to wait a day, and I cut those combined costs by about $140 a month. Has anyone else found their real culprit was tiny purchases, not the monthly bills?

Funny enough, my real leak was the opposite. I kept canceling my little treats and still felt broke, then realized I was bleeding cash on late fees from my gym membership I never used. Those $25 hits every month added up way worse than my taco habit ever did.
