Spent 6 hours trying to book a flight on a budget airline's website
I was trying to book a cheap flight from Denver to Chicago on one of those no-frills airlines and their website kept crashing every time I hit 'pay now.' After the third try I called their support and sat on hold for 45 minutes, only for them to say it was a known glitch with my browser. Switch to incognito mode and the thing works in 2 minutes flat. Has anyone else had to waste an entire evening just to get a $59 ticket to go through?

...and yeah I read somewhere that budget airline websites are basically held together with tape and hope. That incognito mode trick is solid because they use cookies to track your session and it gets corrupted or something. I remember a tech article saying these sites purposely don't fix glitches because they figure customers will just give up and pay more elsewhere. The $59 ticket probably costs them more in server issues than they want to admit. Honestly you dodged a bullet if their website is that bad, the actual experience flying is probably just as rough.

Ugh, that incognito mode trick is a lifesaver honestly. I've had the same thing happen where the website just refuses to cooperate until you clear cookies or go private. Pro tip: always screenshot the error message when it happens, then you can skip the hold time and just email them the proof. Their systems are just so glitchy with regular browsing sessions.
