Honestly it's wild how some places have crazy good wifi and others you're stuck with dial-up vibes. Like I went to a coffee shop downtown last week and their internet was slower than molasses in January but they charged five bucks for a latte. Meanwhile a random diner in the middle of nowhere has fiber optic speeds for no reason. It makes me wonder if the owners actually know what they're doing or just get lucky with their internet provider. Maybe the key is to find the spots that are too cheap or too weird to care about looking fancy. That's where the real hidden gems are.

You ever notice how life's like that in general though? Like the fanciest place with all the polish usually cuts corners somewhere you don't see. Meanwhile some dive bar or hole in the wall has the best burger you've ever had because they actually care about the food not the decor. People get so hung up on appearances they forget the real stuff. It's the same with internet, with food, with everything really. The places that aren't trying to impress you usually end up impressing you the most.
