Blew $180 on a Eurail pass in Italy and barely used it
Regret buying that thing before I knew my route, since regional buses in Tuscany ran me like 8 euros a hop and nobody ever checked my pass on half the trains. Changed my mind after a hostel guy in Siena showed me his FlixBus app, so has anyone actually made a rail pass pay off on a trip that wasn't already locked in?
