That $3 bag of dried beans lecture actually made me ditch canned
My sister in law went on a 20 minute rant about how canned beans were wasting my money, and I finally did the math last week with a bag that made 6 portions for the price of 2 cans. Anyone else find the soaking time annoying or is it just me?

Soaking time is genuinely the worst part. Half the time I forget to soak them the night before and then I'm stuck with a bag of rocks when I wanted chili that day. The math does end up being worth it though, especially for black beans which always seem to make more than I expect.
