Serious question, how does a person mess up rice 4 times in one week?
Last Monday I decided to save money by making a big batch of rice for lunches. First attempt I forgot to rinse it and it came out gluey. Tuesday I tried brown rice and it was still crunchy after 30 minutes. Wednesday I used too much water and basically made rice soup. Thursday my roommate bumped the pot and half of it ended up on the stove. By Friday I just ate a raw carrot and called it a win. Anyone else have a week where the simplest thing just won't cooperate?

Nah man, the raw carrot finish is a CLASSIC move. But I gotta ask - why didn't you just take a break after Wednesday and buy frozen rice or something? Four strikes in a row and you still went back for more, that's dedication bordering on stubbornness. Was it a matter of principle at that point or were you just too broke to grab a box of instant rice from the store?

oh man i feel this. i did something similar last month with my old pressure washer, kept using it even after the belt snapped twice and the unloader valve started acting up. ended up hand scrubbing a driveway for three hours on a saturday just because i was too stubborn to stop at the hardware store for parts
