My neighbor saw my 'struggle meal' and gave me a game-changing tip
I was eating a bowl of rice and black beans on my porch last Tuesday, and my neighbor Frank walked by. He said, 'Kid, throw a fried egg on that, it's a dollar and feels like a whole new meal.' I tried it, and he was totally right. Anyone have other cheap add-ons that make a basic meal feel special?

Frank's a real one for that egg tip. That's the kind of life hack that makes you feel like you've been playing the game on hard mode for no reason.

30 years of boiling eggs and I never had a shell problem so maybe it's just you.

My grandma showed me that trick with a pinch of salt in the water about ten years ago and it blew my mind. I spent my whole teenage life watching the shells stick to every single egg I tried to peel. It really does feel like finding a cheat code for the most basic stuff.
