Pro tip: bakery outlet stores sell bread for under a dollar if you check the date
I stopped by the Wonder Bread outlet off Route 9 last Tuesday because my grocery bill hit $78 and I needed a break. They had day-old loaves for 89 cents, and I grabbed four that were marked for sale the next morning. I froze two and ate the others within a week, no mold, no waste. For anyone else near a bakery outlet, is the bread quality pretty consistent or do you go on specific restock days?

The "under a dollar" thing is mostly a myth now, mine charge $1.29 minimum unless you buy five.
