That 14-year-old IRS form I had to fax from a library last Tuesday

Walked in expecting a quick copy job, but the library's fax machine only takes credit cards and the librarian had to hunt for a phone cord that wasn't tangled. I spent 35 minutes watching a teenager scan his Pokémon cards on the same machine while my form sat in a queue, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has hit a weird roadblock like this with government documents lately.

Last Tuesday I hit the same wall with a property tax form, and the machine ate my dollar bills twice before the librarian told me it's card only. Honestly, that fax queue with the Pokémon cards sounds like a better wait than mine.
