Dipping brush handles in paint is my new pet peeve
Last month at a guild demo in Austin, someone dipped the brush handle into the glue pot while reaching for a book cloth, and nobody said a word. I get that we're all moving fast, but that residue ruins grip and transfers onto covers if you're not careful. Anyone else have shop habits they secretly judge but never call out?

Book cloth" is exactly what got me last week at a local workshop. I was reaching for a bone folder and accidentally knocked over a jar of wheat paste, which is basically just fancy snot, if you ask me. The worst part is I didn't even notice until I picked up a brush and my hand slid right off the handle like I was greasing a pan. Now I have a little sticker on my tool box that says "grip check" and I still judge myself every time I grab something without looking. It's the same energy as people who leave their scissors sticky with tape residue, you just feel it in your soul.
