Pro tip: I dismissed that 'reading nook with a beanbag' idea as silly until my back gave out

I spent 6 months reading on a hard wooden chair in my tiny Denver apartment and figured I was just being picky. Then after a 3-hour session with The Goldfinch, I literally couldn't stand up straight and my neighbor lent me her old memory foam beanbag. Has anyone else's reading setup turned out to be way more important than they thought?

Oh man, the same thing happened to me with my dining chair.

Right? That first chair taught me nothing.
