I finally picked the short book over the 800 pager for book club and we actually finished the talk in one sitting
Our group could not decide between 'The Overstory' and a slim 180 page novel for May, so I pushed for the short one and we had our best talk yet since everyone actually read it, but now half the group says we took the easy way out, so do you all pick books by page count or just go with whatever sounds good?
