I played Catan wrong for 6 years and only found out Tuesday
My buddy from Tulsa pointed out that you're supposed to draw a resource when rolling a 7, not just move the robber, and I felt like an idiot in front of 4 people at the shop. Anybody else have a rule they botched for ages without a clue?

Feel you on this one, man. I played Ticket to Ride for like five years before I realized you can draw more than one train card if the face up ones match. My whole group looked at me like I had three heads when I finally said something. We all just sat there for a second, then someone pulled out the rulebook and yeah, I was wrong the whole time. It's rough when you think you know a game and then find out you've been playing a totally different version of it. At least you found out now and not after another decade, right?
