Accidentally played a legacy game backwards and it still worked

Picked up a used copy of Pandemic Legacy Season 1 for $30 and didn't realize the stickers were already applied in reverse order. We played 6 months of content in the wrong month sequence but somehow the story still made sense. Has anyone else accidentally broken the timeline in a legacy game?

haha oh man that reminds me of my friend Dave. He bought Gloomhaven and his group played like 8 scenarios in totally the wrong order cause the scenario book pages were mixed up. They ended up fighting the final boss on like the third session and were totally confused why it was so hard. The game still worked mechanically it just made zero story sense lol

Got a buddy named Mark who bought a used copy of Risk Legacy. Previous owner had shuffled all the faction stickers and put them on random envelopes. Mark's group opened a sealed envelope in month two and got a permanent global bonus. They were supposed to unlock that after winning three wars. He told me they spent the next five months wondering why everyone started with extra armies. The game still played fine just felt weird.
