My streaming app froze on a cliffhanger and I had to reset my router mid-binge, has anyone else had their whole night derailed by a buffering wheel just when the big reveal was happening?

Ever tried force-closing the app and reopening it instead of messing with the router? I had the same thing happen mid-season finale, and just swiping the app away and relaunching it saved me like ten minutes of resetting everything. Also, if you're on wifi, moving closer to the router or hardwiring with an ethernet cable is a game changer for those peak streaming hours.

Aw man, that’s actually smart about force-closing the app. My buddy Steph had that same problem with Hulu last week during a movie night. She was yelling at her TV for like five minutes before I told her to just swipe the app away and reopen it. Worked perfectly and she didn’t have to climb behind her couch to unplug the modem. She made me feel like a genius for suggesting it haha.
