My crew loves the anticipation, but I feel shows that take forever to drop new seasons are a buzzkill.

Read an article that called it "content whiplash." You get super into a story, then have to wait a year or two and basically start over. Makes it feel like homework to catch up again.

Remember that show everyone was obsessed with a few years back? I binged the first season in a weekend, but by the time season two dropped I'd totally forgotten half the side characters and plot twists. Had to watch a 20 minute recap video just to feel like I was back in the loop, and by then the magic was kinda gone. It just felt like a chore instead of fun.
