Watched a guy at the Boise co-op true a wheel with a spoke wrench he made from a coat hanger
Saw this at the Boise co-op bike kitchen back in March. He grabbed a wire coat hanger, bent it into a hook, and used it to check dish while I stood there with my $40 park tool feeling silly. Now I want to know if homemade tools are actually fine or if I'm just cheap. Half of you probably say buy the real thing, the other half say skill beats tools every time. Where do you land?
