Two months of wrestling with a floppy bike sounds miserable, and I bet that $40 stand seemed fine right up until the first time your derailleur kissed the garage floor. The PCS-10.2 stings at checkout but it holds the bike steady so you can actually work on it with both hands. Mine has survived years of chain cleaning and bottom bracket jobs without ever tipping. You will forget the price long before you forget the wobble.
