Appreciation post: That 90-part Tumblr series about a haunted cathedral

I used to roll my eyes at multi-part stories, figured nobody could sustain quality that long. But this one about a haunted cathedral in Quebec started with a groundskeeper finding a single old key, and 60 parts later I was still refreshing the page every morning. The payoff on what that key unlocked around part 45 was worth every slow chapter before it.

Guilty as charged, I spent three hours one night clicking through because I swore I could just skim the parts I missed but ended up reading every single word again. My therapist says 90-part Tumblr series aren't a coping mechanism but she's wrong and needs to see the cathedral key payoff herself. The chapter about the bell tower shadow people was when I knew I'd never look at church maintenance the same way.
