Spent 20 years taping my glasses with scotch tape until I discovered those little silicone nose pad kits at the drugstore
I walked around with crooked frames held together by clear tape since middle school because nobody ever told me those $3 pads just pop on with a screwdriver and now I can actually see straight, has anyone else been in denial about a cheap fix like that?

Read this blog post somewhere that said most people spend years dealing with annoying stuff before realizing there's a simple fix. The post was about replacing vacuum belts but same idea. Can't believe it took me 15 years to figure out I could just adjust my own temple arms with a hair dryer instead of going to the optician every time they got loose.
