TIL taping a $2 kitchen sponge over my amp's grill cloth kills the harsh buzz from my cheap mic
Spent three weekends in my buddy's garage in Akron fighting this nasty 2kHz spike on every take until I just taped a dry sponge right in front of the speaker and it smoothed the whole thing out, has anyone else tried weird household stuff for tone fixes instead of buying gear?
