Serious question, I thought those $30 hot towel warmers were just for show until I tried one on a regular's neck and he said it was the only thing that ever helped his tension.

Has anyone else found a specific tool or step they thought was a gimmick that actually made a real difference for a particular type of client?

I mean, is a warm towel really that big of a deal? It just seems like a basic comfort thing. Maybe the guy just really liked the heat and it was more about the overall experience. Idk, I feel like people sometimes hype up simple stuff way too much.

Honestly, I was the same way about those little gua sha stones. Thought it was just a smooth rock people were overcharging for. Tried it on my own jaw after a long day and had to eat my words, the relief was no joke. Sometimes the simple, kinda gimmicky looking tools just hit a specific spot nothing else can reach.
