Clipper oil vs blade spray on my Oster 76s
Been using blade spray for years like everyone else in the shop, but last month I switched to straight clipper oil on my Oster 76s and the motor runs way smoother now. No more gumming up after a few hours of heavy use, just clean cutting all day. Any other barbers ditch the spray for plain oil?

Started using straight clipper oil on my 76s about six months ago and never went back. The motor runs quieter and stays cool even after cutting five heads in a row. The blade spray always left a sticky residue that built up fast, especially with heavy use. Oil just cuts clean and keeps the blades moving smooth without that gunk.
