My uncle bet me $50 in 2010 that nobody would ever watch movies on a phone
Went to my uncle's place in Sacramento for Thanksgiving back in 2010 and he pulled out a newspaper clipping about how streaming on phones would never take off because the screens were too small. He was so sure about it that he bet me $50 right at the dinner table in front of everybody. He said quote, nobody wants to squint at a 3 inch screen when they got a 50 inch TV in the living room. Fast forward to now and he watches entire seasons of shows on his phone while waiting at the doctor's office. I still bring up that bet every holiday and he just waves his hand at me, has anyone else got a family member with a hot take that aged like milk?
