So last Tuesday I'm moving into this place on Fletcher Ave in Tampa and the landlord hands me this printed map of the complex, right? It shows the laundry room as a little square right next to the mailboxes. Cool. I grab my basket of wet clothes, walk over, and there's just a dumpster sitting there. No door, no room, nothing. I stood in the parking lot for like 10 minutes comparing the map to the actual buildings and the whole thing was flipped. Turns out the map was drawn from the view of the street facing the other way. I ended up walking to the office and the guy just shrugged and said people complain about it all the time. I took a pen and drew the real layout on the back of the paper myself and taped it in the laundry room. Why do apartments even print maps if they never actually walk the property? Anyone got a good story of a map being flipped or just plain made up?
