Tried using OpenStreetMap for navigation last week, Google Maps still wins by a mile

OK but what ACTUALLY went wrong for you? Was it the routing being dumb or just the interface feeling clunky? I've had times where OSM totally nailed a back road that Google didn't even know existed, but then other times it sent me down a dirt track that was basically a river.
