TIL a guy in a map forum told me to flip my projection and my whole Boston layout made sense
He told me my map looked like a pancake squished at the edges and to try a different one for that latitude. Anyone else get saved by a random comment on a map they thought was done?

That pancake thing is so real lol. I had a map of my neighborhood and something felt off for weeks. Turned out my projection was making everything stretch weird at that latitude. One comment saying "your streets look drunk" and I switched it up. Now it actually looks like a place people live in. Random internet strangers know their stuff sometimes.
