Spent 3 hours on Google Maps trying to find a road in my own town that doesn't exist anymore
I was trying to give my buddy directions to a bait shop off Route 9 near Poughkeepsie and Maps kept routing me through a street that got torn out for a cul-de-sac like 15 years ago. Ended up just pulling up a scanned 1998 county map PDF from the library site and finding it in about 4 minutes. How do these old paper scans still beat the app for local roads?
