My co-worker drew a map of the fire station exit route with a sharpie on a napkin

We had a new guy last week who couldn't figure out the back hallway, so another firefighter sketched a map on a greasy napkin from lunch. The hallways were labeled as "the long one" and "the hot one," and the exit was a stick figure diving out a window. Has anyone else seen a map so bad it actually worked?

...and honestly I bet that stick figure is the reason he remembers it at all, @taylor.betty. Youre totally right about goofy maps sticking better. That said, I gotta nitpick one thing - diving out a window? thats not exactly an exit strategy, thats a recipe for a sprained ankle. A real fire escape route should probably include a door or a ladder, not a swan dive into the parking lot. Still, if the napkin got the job done and nobody got hurt, I guess the method doesnt really matter.

That stick figure diving out a window really got me... sometimes the goofiest maps are the ones you remember best.
