Just realized the map app on my phone added 40 minutes to my trip to see my mom in Tulsa
Two years ago I had a paper atlas in the car and it mostly got me where I needed to go. Last Friday the app sent me down a county road that turned into gravel for 6 miles, then told me to turn left into a field. My mom lives 90 minutes away and it took me 2 hours and 10 minutes. I pulled up the old atlas when I got there and the highway route was right there the whole time. Now I screenshot the atlas page before any drive over an hour. Did the app change or has it always been this bad and I just got lucky before?
