Drew a cat at 2 AM and it looks like a potato with whiskers

I was half asleep last night and tried to sketch my cat Luna sleeping on the couch, but somehow the eyes ended up on the side of its head and the tail looks like a worm. The result is this lumpy blob that could be a vegetable or a weird bug, not a cat at all. Has anyone else woken up to find their late night art looks totally cursed the next morning?

Oh wow, that's actually kind of charming in its own way. I've always felt like those 2 AM sketches capture something real about how our brains work when they're half asleep. Maybe your potato-cat is showing you that sometimes we're not seeing things clearly, but that doesn't make the attempt any less genuine.
